The majority of rooms contain bunk beds. A laundry facility and a lounge area are all on site.For making your own meals, YHA Buttermere also has a self-catering kitchen. Local ales and wines are served in the bar/restaurant.Walks of all levels start from Buttermere village, which is in a quieter area of the Lake District. Red squirrels and woodpeckers can often be spotted in the grounds.You can park for free, and store bicycles on site. There is also a drying room for wet clothes.
